Eco Pod’s Weekly Fit-outs

At Eco Pod Concepts they have looked to push the boundaries of transportable architecture, while creating beautiful modern solutions to the requirement for extra space.

This project has tight time constraints as they run a consistent production schedule. As they are building 10-15 Pods in any given day it’s important that there are never production halts. Helix are able to deliver a fast turn around by very clearly scoping in advance of each new unit being designed.

One of the main things that Helix Electrical had to do for this project was ensure that at all times the client knew what the cost of a project would be in advance. In stark contrast to a residential job with lot’s of variables the Eco Pod projects are often quite similar and have serious cost constraints.

Needing a “cheap” service didn’t mean quality was able to suffer though.

This wasn’t an easy to solve problem, but we worked with them to build a solution that worked well for both parties.

You may have already guessed it, but the solution was fixed prices on all jobs. Helix created a clear plan for each “Pods” fit-out and committed to delivering this every time one left the factory floor. This meant the client could forecast months in advance and fairly price large jobs with no hidden surprises.

When you are building 15-20 projects at one time consistency is key and delays are money. Helix have continually worked with the client to productise the electrical fit-outs and fit in with their existing production schedule, as seamlessly as possible. This allows them to deliver to a high standard, on time and under budget.
